My name is Kiley
I started this because
Most other “mom” blogs are about how they can pull a multicolored sparkly dinosaur layer cake out of their bums… while creating a paper flower wreath AND filming a tutorial on making your kid a dress, made out paper clips and recycled t-shirts. These women are born mothers/housewife’s and are super great at what they do.
I am so far from perfect that it might as well be France.
I’m going to try to be super honest with whatever I do. I know I’m not perfect and I definitely cannot make a dress out of paper clips and recycled t-shirts (that would be cool though). However I wish to be a better housewife. I want to do cool things and have a clean home and all that neat-o stuff. This blog is about my road to these things. I want to create a magical place for my child to grow-up and a home that my hubs with be stoked to come back to.
not that my home was terrible before. I’m just polishing up a already pretty penny.

The (S)lacking Housewife 
A clean house still evades me! My house looks clean in my blog pictures becasue I’ve gotten good at cropping pictures and pulling things I don’t want you to see out of the shot. The BEST trick I learned from my mother, as unplanned company pulled in our driveway, was to stash junk in large garbage bags and through em’ under the bed! LOL
Ha ha ha, I’m guilty of hiding things in my laundry room and garage. I always make sure that the doors are locked going into those rooms.
